Pastor recounts how money ritual brought wealth before accident led to leg amputation
An Ogbomoso-based pastor, Joel Adedeji, has recounted how his involvement in money rituals allegedly brought him wealth for five years before a car accident led to the amputation of his leg.
Adedeji shared his experience during an interview with BBC Yoruba, where he narrated how his desperation for wealth in his younger days led him to seek help from a ritualist.
According to the cleric, the ritualist instructed him to find a young woman he deeply loved, have sexual intercourse with her and use a white handkerchief to wipe her private parts before presenting it to him.
He said the ritual eventually made him wealthy, but came with restrictions on how he could spend the money.
Adedeji disclosed that he was warned against using the money to purchase a car or a house.
The pastor further recounted that he was involved in a car accident on May 26, 2001, which eventually resulted in the amputation of his leg.
He explained that the vehicle that hit him was indirectly connected to him because he had provided the money used by another person to purchase it.
Reflecting on his experience, Adedeji urged young Nigerians to avoid seeking quick wealth through questionable means.
He advised youths to exercise patience and pursue legitimate means of livelihood rather than resorting to money rituals.
