Pastor facing rape charges arrested in a church after claiming to on life support

Operative of Lagos state police command, Elemoro divisional station have arrested the General Overseer of Peculiar Generation Assembly Church, Oshodi, who is facing a charge of rape before an Ikeja Special Offences Court in Lagos.

The Pastor sold his church building at Oshodi and relocated to Lekki/Ibeju area of Lagos state metropolis to open another one after he was bailed on health condition .

The suspect claimed to be under a life support after warrant of arrest was issued to him for alleged rape a minor.

The trial Justice Ramon Oshodi ordered his arrest after he refused to appear for more than eight times that the matter has been mentioned before his court.

His lawyer who pleads claimed his client is seriously down and under a life support since last adjournment.

The matter has been fixed for October 31st, 2022.
