 RemoGDF is a vehicle to transform Remoland -Akarigbo

The Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Adewale Babatunde Ajayi has said that, the Remo Growth and Development Foundation, is the vehicle to drive the much needed transformation needed for his subjects in Remoland.

The highly revered First Class Monarch and Paramount ruler of Remoland while speaking at the maiden Annual General Meeting of the RemoGDF at Iperu-Remo on Thursday said, the mission of making Remoland a kingdom of great people by 2039, is a task which RemoGDF is set to achieve and must be embraced by indigenes and residents.

The Akarigbo also in his address was full of gratitude with RemoGDF an organisation which according to him was birthed in 2018.

Oba Ajayi said RemoGDF has now arrived at the actualisation phase with various ideas being executed for the growth and development of Remoland.

“The height that RemoGDF has attained so far within its short lifespan is very startling. One can honestly confess when we conceived of this development initiative and for its actualisation , we assembled from our in exhaustive collection of Remo professionals and top-notch individuals ,little did we realize we have such an unlit fire of enthusiasm in our people.”

“It seems that, the fire to vigorously promote the cause of Remolandwas just to be ignited. I want to believe collectively we have since moved from the dream stage to actualisation phase, through the vehicle of executing our ideas. With the birth of RemoGDF, Which membership is a coterie of everyone that matters in Remoland.”

Also, The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, in his goodwill message which was read virtually by a Senior Special Assistant to the President on Monitoring and Evaluation, in the Office of the Vice President, Mr Babatunde Osibamowo, appreciated the initiative of Oba Ajayi in the establishment of the Foundation.

“It is important you take full advantage of our State location between Lagos and Oyo, the immense natural and human resources for economic prosperity and job creation.

“This task is not for government alone, but also that of every citizen in the state contribute to achieving our dream, in that context groups like the Remo GDF.

“I congratulate the RemoGDF for empowering the youth as empowering them is key to our future prosperity.

“I salute the Akarigbo of Remoland for the establishment of the Akarigbo Corporate Council and for his leadership and clear vision for the development of the State,” the VP added.

Also in his address,The Chairman of RemoGDF, Otunba Tunji Lawal-Solarin, said the main objective of the Foundation is to address ‘a development service gap’ in Remoland.

The Chairman urged indigenes and residents to support the the Foundation to reach the promise land.

Odole of the Source and Balogun of Remoland, Sir Kesington Adebutu, also reteirated Akarigbo’s belief that RemoGDF is a vehicle of development in Remoland.

The AGM was also attended by notable Obas within Remoland.
Also in attendance was Chief Kayode Anafowokan, the Asiwaju of Remoland.
