Samuel Chukwueze was named Man of the Match after helping AC Milan secure a 2-1 victory over Torino at the Stadio Olimpico Grande on Sunday night.

The Nigeria international, who featured as a wing-back under manager Ruben Amorim, set up Adrien Rabiot for Milan’s second goal in the 67th minute.

Chukwueze also created a game-high four chances and recorded nine touches in Torino’s box, the joint-most by any player in the match.

Torino struggled whenever he accelerated, especially during Milan’s strong first-half attacks down his flank.

Chukwueze has enjoyed an impressive start to life after returning to the club following his loan stint with Fulham in the Premier League last season.

The 27-year-old will hope to replicate the same performance when Milan welcome Venezia in their next league game at the San Siro.
