 Strange deaths trigger fear of Covid-19 infection in Rivers Community

Two strange deaths reported to have occurred at the Refinery Junction, Eleme, Rivers State, has spiked fears about the community spread of the second wave of COVID-19.

One of the deceased, who was a woman in her 60s, was reported to have dropped dead near the Refinery junction after getting off from a commercial motorcycle.

The second deceased, a 70 year old man was said to have slumped and lost his life after he alighted from a commercial vehicle.

The man’s corpse was said to have been taken away by his son, while the woman’s corpse remained unclaimed

The deaths have been linked to the COVID-19 second wave.
