The Rivers State Police has members of the gang formed by deceased cult leader Honest Diigbara aka Boboski to lay down their arms within 14 days or risk facing the wrath of the law.

The order was given by the Divisional Police Officer of Bori, Khana Local Government Area, Bako Amgbashim, alongside his counterpart from Kpor, Gokana Local Government Area, Bleise Etete.

The police officers had announced the order during a meeting with residents of Nweol community in Gokana Local Government Area of the state.

They asked relatives and associates of the late cultist and gangster to report to any nearby police station.

“We are committed to ending cultism and all forms of criminality in Ogoni. All those who are members of Boboski’s gang and his friends have been warned.

“We will come after you because there is no hiding place for the wicked. Let them surrender their arms within the 14-day window or face the full wrath of the law,” Amgbashim, DPO for Bori stated.

Equally, they gave a 24-hour ultimatum to two notorious cult leaders in the area, Alex Anange and Lawrence Naawin, to turn in themselves to the DPO at Kpor, Gokana LGA.

They threatened to declare both cultists wanted if they failed to surrender themselves per the order.

Etete, Kpor DPO said, “We are not spirits to be manifesting ourselves everywhere. Tell the parents of Alex and Lawrence and all their people to immediately file down to the police station and see the DPO.
