Gunmen kill Butcher in Delta Community

Unknown gunmen shot dead a middle-aged butcher, identified as Efe, at the Sapele main market on Sunday.
It was gathered that Efe, who sells cow meat was shot dead along New Road axis by Poultry Road Junction in the town.
In a report by Punch, sources narrated that the gunmen who had come in a blue, numberless Toyota Camry, had shot their target in the head at a close range while he was on top of a motocycle.
This incident happened barely 24 hours after Okiemute Sowho, a Senior Special Assistant on Youth Development to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, was killed in the same Sapele metropolis.
A resident in the community stated that both murder were cult related.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for Delta State Command, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya could not be reached for comments as the time of filing the report.
