Jurgen Klopp has won the Premier League manager of the year award following his exploits at Liverpool, where he picked up the club’s first EPL title in 30 years.

The German gaffer beat out Chelsea boss, Frank Lampard; Sheffield United coach, Chris Wilder; and Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers, Klopp’s predecessor at Liverpool.

The award comes after a wonderful season for the German, which saw him guide the Kop to a 99-point finish atop the EPL table, 18 points ahead of rivals, Manchester City.

Just last month, Klopp was presented with the League Manager’s Association manager of the season award.
