LAGFFERY MD, Balogun dedicates award to Sanwo-Olu

The Managing Director of Lagos Ferry Services (LAGFERRY), Hon. Abdoulbaq Ladi Balogun, has dedicated his award of excellence to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
He was given an award for outstanding performance in the improvement of waterways transportation in Lagos at the 15th edition of the Nigerian Media Niteout Award event held at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja.
Balogun, while receiving the award, said he had to dedicate the award to the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to appreciate the governor for finding him worthy to be appointed as the MD of LAGFERRY.
He reiterated his commitment to transforming water transportation in the state.
“I will like to dedicate this award to Mr Governor and state that the transformation being witnessed in water transportation today is due to the passionate commitment and dedication of Mr Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, to ensuring a viable alternative to road transportation and decongest the road traffic,” he stated.
He urged the public to embrace water transportation, saying it is safer, faster and very reliable.
He emphasised that LAGFERRY will not relent in its efforts to ensure Lagosians get the best in comfort and guaranteed safety when riding on boats.
