 Lagos applauds residents for endurance amidst road construction projects

The Lagos State Government has applauded residents for displaying endurance and and perseverance amidst road rehabilitation works across the state.

This was contained in a statement released on Monday by Commissioner of Transportation, Dr Frederic Oladeinde.

Oladeinde thanked citizens for their patience even as the state government closed part of the Third Mainland Bridge for maintenance activities, amongst others.

The Commissioner stressed that the state government was aware of the plight of road users and was making efforts to complete the projects on schedule to alleviate problems faced by drivers.

He also urged operatives attached with various traffic management agencies to ensure compliance with traffic laws while adding that more plans to reduce ordeals of road users are underway.

He wished Lagosians compliments of the season and charged them to follow COVID-19 travel guidelines.
