LASUSTECH conducts physical verification for adjunct staff, pensioners

As part of effort to make sure the system is free of ghost workers, the management of the newly established Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) has invited all the adjunct staff members and the pensioners of the Institution for physical verification exercise by the Directorate of Internal Audit.
According to the Director, Information and Public Relations, Lanre Kuye, adjunct staff audit exercise will hold on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd November, 2022 at the Engineering Lecture Theatre from 9a.m to 2p.m.
He stated that pensioners audit exercise will hold from 28th November to 1st December, 2022 at the Engineering Lecture Theatre from 9a.m to 2p.m.
The Information Officer further informed that the Lagos State Science Research and Innovation Council (LASRIC) Portal has been opened for application.
He said in its bid to develop resource science and innovation, the Council has called for fund ready research application.
The key areas of focus are: transportation, agriculture, manufacturing, circular economy, clean energy and cloud computing.
To apply, applicants are urged to log on to lasric.lagoststate.gov.ng as application closes on 30th November, 2022.
The winner of the LASRIC Cohort V, 2022 will receive (subject to the T&Cs) grant funding of up to Five Million Naira #5,000,000. Selected applicants will be invited for a virtual interview to defend their proposals.
