 Manchester varsity donates equipment to LASUSTECH, as staffers undergo police training

The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) has received donation of Cutting-Edge instruments from the University of Manchester, England, United Kingdom.
In a statement signed by the LASUSTECH Director of Information and Public Relations, Mr. Lanre Kuye, he Ag. Vice Chancellor, Dr. Oluremi Olaleye, said the equipment would go a long way towards kick-starting a measured response to the air pollution epidemic which was recently reported by the Lagos State Government.
“The gesture will enable the two Universities engage in collaborative research activities befitting of leading Universities.”
Meanwhile, the Assets Disposal Committee is requesting that all Colleges/Schools/ Departments/Units to list all unserviceable items in their offices and forward same to the Director, Special Duties.
In another development, the Management of the Institution saud it has sponsored ten staff members of the Security Unit on the Nigerian Police Supernumerary training (SPY Police) at the Nigerian Police Training School Ikeja, Lagos.
The Vice Chancellor, while congratulating the beneficiaries, admonished them to be more dutiful.
