UNILAG Crisis: NASU Pulls Out Of Opposition To New VC

Circumstances surrounding the removal of former UNILAG Vice-Chancellor, Toyin Ogundipe, took a new turn today as the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) announced its decision to dump the coalition of workers protesting the appointment of Professor Theophilus Soyombo as Acting Vice Chancellor.
NASU released a statement on Tuesday, saying it was no longer party to the decision kicking against the removal of Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe as Vice Chancellor and the appointment of Professor Theophilus Soyombo as in his place.
The statement signed by the Chairman of the union’s UNILAG Chapter, Kehinde Ajibade and the Chairman of the union’s College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Idi Araba Chapter, T.S. Adeiribigbe.
